Glass Joe: Lets get this over with fast, so I can retire.
Before Warfare came on the air we saw a quick but exciting bout between Glass Joe and Joseph Page. Glass Joe put on a good show before the match but once the match began was over pretty quickly. Glass Joe dances around the ring a bit then telegraphed a huge haymaker spinning his arm around in the air as he jogged forward. Joseph Page hooked him once and Glass Joe begins to wobble about, flopping to the right, then to the left before flopping into the ropes then finally backwards and down onto the mat. The referee, who looked oddly enough like Super Mario, called for the bell. Glass Joe was out cold. We are told it took another 28 minutes to revive him. Impressive showing for Joseph Page...
Winner: JOSEPH PAGE

WELCOME TO XWF WEDNESDAY WARFARE
We go to the parking lot area where a stretch limousine is seen coming to a slow halt. The driver gets out and makes his way to the rear of the limo and opens the door.
Out steps......
ROCK BOTTOM! ROCK BOTTOM! ROCK BOTTOM! MR. XWF was dressed as a camera man and attacked her as soon as she started stepping out of the limo! The camera tumbles to the ground cracking a bit, get a new camera there! Who did he hit!
Who did he hit?!
The person he hit with a Rock Bottom was GENERAL MANAGER MIYOKO KAWASHIMA! Oh my fucking god! Holy shit!
MR. XWF: I remember saying not to be surprised next time you're laid out flat on yo bizzack, bizzitch! Rock-a-lock-Bottoms ALLLLLLL night long when you party with that boy with the biiiiig ol' dick!
Mr. XWF quickly runs off as various people arrive on the scene to help the GM. Miyoko gets up very slowly but refuses the medical attention as they arrive, her eyes following MR. XWF as he walks off. Miyoko looking very angry but also very much in pain.

Bald Bull & King Hippo
Curtain Jerker Classic
In the first televised match of the night we saw Tax work over Bald Bull and King Hippo a great deal. The two never got on the offencive dispite their size advantage. In the end Tax took advanage of King Hippos trunks falling to the ground and was able to score a roll up pin for the quick three count. The crowd got a good laugh as King Hippo tried to pull up his trunks...
Winner: TAX
Cameras follow the United States Champion JOSEPH PAGE as he strolls through the back of the Bridgestone Arena, until he comes to the locker room of none other than TAX! PAGE scans the name and raises his fist, thinking for just a second before hesitantly knocking on the door.
TAX: Go away.
PAGE scoffs before pushing through the door. TAX looks up to find his Wednesday night nemesis invading his personal space. TAX shakes his head as he pops the top of his prescription container and stuffs two Vicodins down his throat.
TAX: The hell do you want?
PAGE crosses over and takes a seat beside TAX, much to TAX’s dismay. PAGE reaches over and grabs the still-open pill bottle from TAX and pours a couple in his own hand, pops them in his mouth, and hands the bottle back to TAX, who is clearly annoyed that PAGE has uninvitingly helped himself to his personal supply of medicine.
PAGE: That… Was embarrassing.
TAX: Tell me about it.
TAX twists the top back on the container and rises to his feet, snatching a black Warfare shirt from his locker and slipping it over his head.
PAGE: We’ve got to do something about this.
TAX: We?
PAGE: I’m sorry, I didn’t know how much you enjoyed curtain jerkers.
TAX: Okay, okay. As much as it pains me to say this… you’re right. But what can we do?
PAGE: I’ve got an idea, but you’re not going to like it.
There is a seriousness in PAGE’s eyes that TAX clearly does not like. He drops his head back and takes a deep breath before crossing the floor back to PAGE and retaking his seat beside him. PAGE looks up at the camera just before he begins his statement.
PAGE: Do you mind?

Pink Slip On a Pole
In what could only be described as the worst match ever the three wrestlers put on a sloppy match. The crowd booed early and often in this crappy match and the thought of any of them winning the Jon Brown Classic Pink Slip on a Pole match was mind numbing. So mind numbing that Miyoko sent out her Ninja Kaede Kojima to grab the pink slip, thus ending the match with no winner. Kaede apparently gets to keep her job as Head Ninja. Yay for that. She is said to be happy, but shows no emotion because she is wearing a mask, right Booker T?
WINNER: No One. You three, what you've just put on is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever had to watch. At no point in your insanely crappy, botch filled match were you even close to anything that could be considered a decent wrestling move. Everyone in this arena is now dumber for having watched it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul. You're all fucking fired.
The cameras catch Miyoko in the back looking around for something. She looks left then right, then at a near by ladder. Nothing is going on. It is almost too quite in the back, this is a great concern for her as she was expecting the Heavymetal Weight Champion to be here by now and everyone and everything trying to pin it... She hoped the belt was not lost to another federation... it can happen you know.
Miyoko: Kaede, come.
Nothing happens. Miyoko looks around and gets a bit angry, personal ninjas were hit or miss when you called. Sometimes they came when called, other times you had to wait. Miyoko shouts out in anger for no reason at all other then to kill some more Air time.
Miyoko: FUS RO DAH!
A near by ladder falls over. Miyoko smiles satisfied.
Cody Stonne
- vs -
"Cowboy" Chris Dodd
In another onesided contest, Cody Stonne completely dominated and destroyed the Cowboy Chris Dodd. We were unable to tell if Cody Stonne is just that damn good or if Chris Dodd is just that damn bad. The match was a squash, Stonne pulled off a series of power moves one after the other then got the quick and easy win...
WINNER: CODY STONNE
The scene opens up inside of the arena and the lights dim as "The Show Must Go On" by Metalium starts to play. We see a figure appear at the top of the entrance ramp. He is wearing a lime green suit and is standing with his back to the crowd. The lights come back on and the man turns around. The crowd is on their feet and they are cheering. It is Barney Green. He slowly walks down to the ring and enters the ring. He asks for a mic and goes to speak as the music fades.
Barney: Finally. I have come back home for a little while. I missed you fans and I thank you for supporting me all these years. I have been with the XWF off and on since 2008. I admit there have been a few bad times along with a bunch of good times.
Green stops speaking for a second as the fans start to chant "Welcome back."
Barney: Things sure have changed since I was last here. Wednesday Night Warfare and Saturday Night Impact. I remember Wednesday Night Elevation, Insanity, Thursday Night Anarchy and Monday Night Massacre. Its seems to be a new era is upon us in XWF but I am here to represent the originals. I thank Miyoko Kawishima for giving me the chance to come back and being agreeable to my contract terms. I am gonna be flat out honest right here on this. My contract is until December 31st, 2012.
The fans start to boo a bit.
Barney: The money I am making is only about $550,000 at the end of the year. It was never about the money to me. It doesn't matter if I win or lose, as long as you fans keep cheering my name, I will find away to keep marching forward as the show must go on. I look forward to whoever wants to face me.
The fans start cheering again as "The Show Must Go On" starts to play again as Green drops the microphone and exits the ring. He highfives a few fans and walks backstage.
Stephen Ross
- vs -
Mike Mayhem
In a very solid back and forth contest, Stephen Ross and Mike Mayhem did battle. The winless superstar Mayhem looked very solid but so did Stephen Ross. They were in a dead heat almost as each would exchange a move and the other would counter.
In the end though Stephen Ross managed to pull out a win when a fan in the front row attacked Mike Mayhem with a foreign object when the two were outside the ring. The fan hit Mike as he leaned against a guard rail with what seemed to be a black jack. Stephen Ross who never saw the attack capitalized and quickly put away Mike for the 1, 2 and 3.
Winner: Stephen Ross
Miyoko is sitting in her office when she looks up to find Kaede her person Ninja sitting across from her desk. Miyoko is startled for a second but needs ot get used to surprise entrances like this when she has a personal ninja.
Miyoko: Finally, it has been like twenty minutes. What the hell is going on with the Heavymetal Weight Championship? Why have I not seen it tonight?
Kaede: I regret to inform you that it is not in the building, de gozaimasu.
Miyoko: What the fuck. That was... wait a minute did you just say de gozarimasu? You know we're speaking in English right? Eigo. Not nihongo. Did you want to speak in Japanese? I am sure we can find someone to do dub over or maybe even subtitles. You don't see me ending shit with desu ka.
Kaede: I am regretably sorry, my lord. I will not do it again, de gozaimasu.
Miyoko: Okay, I'll let it... wait you just did it again.
Kaeade: I am not sure what you are talking about, de gozaimasu.
Miyoko: Seriously, you just did it again. Cut it the fuck out.
Kaede: I honestly have no clue what you are talking about, my lord. Please forgive me, I am just a humble servent I exist to serve you, de gozaimasu.
Miyoko: Am I being punked right now?
Kaede: I do no think so, my lord. Do you want me to find out, de gozaimasu?
Miyoko: You just did it again! Okay do it one more time and you are fired, I love ya Kaede but this shit is going to get annoying. PIck a language bitch, Eigo or Nihongo. Do not mix both into one sentence that shit annoys me more then anything, you don't hear me going "Oh Tax makes my heart dokidoki" seriously what the hell?
Kaede: I will stop what ever it is you think I am doing, my lord. I exist only to serve, de gozaimasu.
Miyoko: You know what, fuck it you're fired. Tell Gojiro I need a new Ninja, the one he sent me is defective.
Kaede: You can not fire me.
Miyoko: How come?
Kaede pulls out the contract she took off the pole earlier in the night and holds it up, giving Miyoko a victory V sign. Miyoko slams her fists down on her desk in frutration.
Miyoko: Mother fucker you WERE punking me!
Kaede giggles gives Miyoko a thumbs up as the scene switches back to the ring.
Hank Lane

Rogue
The only thing that got raped in this match was Rogue, and it was legitimate rape too, not that phoney rape. If this rape was applied in the real world your body would shut down, ya know REAL rape. Hank Lane came out strong and looked like Kobe Bryant in a Colorado Hotel room, UNSTOPPABLE. Hank Lane quickly destroyed Rogue, ended the rape and got the easy victory.
WINNER: Hank Lane
Tanner Tirasanu
- vs -
Chris Jax w/ Psyko Stevo
In what could be called the "Singles" match of the night, Tanner and Chris put on an epic match. Miyoko in the back was able to see what Stevo saw in Jax but was also able to see something in Tanner. Both wrestlers left it all in the ring and put on a Warfare Classic. The match would go back and forth for 12 minutes before Tanner finally got the upper hand.
After a long match Jax looked spent but Tanner seemed to only be fueled more as he continued to go delivering picture perfect moves on Jax. It was not long from this point that Tanner was able to put Jax when he was Smelling Blood. Tanner with the win after the 3 count.
Winner: Tanner Tirasanu
Miyoko Kawashima is sitting in her office looking annoyed, she is staring up at her ceiling counting stains on the ceiling panels... She has her computer screen up and has been googling in the last 10 minutes "Who is Robert Miles" and "Where IS Robert Miles" but was unable to find out anything or why he was not in the building with her championship.
Miyoko: Seriously, this sucks. I expected there to be ya know fights every 20 seconds, people sneaking into other peoples houses for this belt. I mean that thing is made out of real gold as far as you know, it is valuable in today's market and Im pretty sure you do not need to pay taxes on it... I never expected one guy to win the belt and hold onto it for like a week... nor did I ever expect it to end up in a fricken Pawn Shop... Man... This sucks. Someone win the belt back please?
Miyoko throws a pencil up to the ceiling panels, sticking it into it with easy...
New Breed

From Ashes
Tag Team, 1 Fall
The match of the night was this one. Both teams looked well familar with each other and both seemed prime for big time as they put on a picture perfect tag match that ran 24 minutes. Durring the match we saw hot and cold streaks from both sides, with some heart pounding hot tags for From the Ashes, to watch them actually rise from the ashes on some of the moves.
Just when it looked like New Breed would pull off a win, Ian or Eric would pull out a hot tag and take control again. The crowd got very pumped early when Jonathan pulled off his Waking Nightmare only to to find Eric Lewis able to kick out of it.
The match ended when From Ashes pulled From Ashes we Rise out of no where onto Jessica Cable, with Jonathan on the outside, he was unable to break up the three count as From Ashes picked up the victory.
Winner: From Ashes!
Everyone is still in the ring after the match. But wait! Ian and Eric take Johnathan Cable into the ring; Ian grabs his legs, while Eric sets up in the back. BOOM! Burning Monkey! (One person, grabs the prone target by the feet and executes a monkey flip. The other person executes a drop kick to the target in flight.) He is now on his back, writhing in pain. Ian locks in the omoplata (The No Lock, but without the crossface and all force applied to the arm), while Eric grapevines 82's legs, bends over, and pulls his head back; the Lewmission! Johnathan Cable is becoming Consumed by Fire! His wife has even left the ring!
Suddenly, Savior by Rise Against plays, but only for a few seconds. That's all it takes for Cody Stonne to slide into the ring. He appears to be pleading for Eric and Ian to let off. They do, and begin looking at Cody as if they will take him out. He, however, has other plans. He takes Cable to the top rope, grips him in a bear hug, and tosses him over his shoulder AND STRAIGHT INTO THE CROWD ON THE OPPOSITE SIDE OF THE RING! Cody has aligned himself with From Ashes! Ian reaches outside for a microphone.
IAN: Ladies and gentlemen, give it up for our new protege, Cody Stonne!
The crowd cheers as Ian hands the microphone off to Cody.
CODY: Ever since these cameras last saw me and my phone, I have been hit up on every corner, every coffee shop, everywhere I go; people ask me who I talking to. First off, those that I speak to are my personal business. Secondly, those that I have spoken to have big plans for XWF, plans that just happen to co-insigne with my own.
We have reached out to each other in brotherhood in order to cleanse this federation, this land of the trash and liable that inhabit it. Ever since coming here, I have seen nothing but bickering between wrestlers and major disrespect for the sport that we all have taken in as our own. I, and more importantly, we are here to not only be a beacon of light in this destitute land of shadow, but to also cleanse those that attempt to come against us.
So, all of those in the back, and those here and at home that want to know what my and my brothers in arms' plans are; its simple, XWF will be burnt down in a cleansing fire, and rebuilt in OUR IMAGE, because...
From Ashes, WE RISE!!!
The fans at the Bridgestone Arena are chattering amongst each other as the show has taken a brief intermission to allow for the XWF to promote the upcoming IMPACT as well as The TRISTAN SLATER's presentation of UNSTOPPABLE. Suddenly, the building comes to life as…
“Say This Sooner” by The Almost blasts across the PA system! The crowd gives a loud ovation as the XWF United States Champion JOSEPH PAGE steps through the curtains with a smile on his face. He stops just at the top of the ramp, and waits as…
“Greed” by Godsmack rocks the arena! XWF star TAX appears at the entrance and steps forward. He faces PAGE and the fans brace themselves as TAX…
Shakes PAGE’s hand?
PAGE wraps his arm around TAX’s neck and with forced smiles, the two make their trek down to ringside. Like two good old buddies, the pair step into the ring. PAGE grabs a microphone and reiterates his newfound friendship with TAX; placing his arm around him again.
PAGE: Tonight put things in perspective for us. The embarrassment of fighting nursing home castoffs has forced us to take a step back and re-evaluate things. Well, me and TAX, we just had a long discussion about everything, and you know what?
We’ve decided that we do know our place on this show. We’ve come to an agreement, that-like it or not-MIYOKO is the boss of Wednesday nights.
A mixed reaction exudes the faithful crowd.
PAGE: So… MIYOKO, I know you’re listening right now. We both came out here to say…
PAGE: That we’re sorry. Aren’t we TAX?
PAGE places the microphone in front of TAX’s mouth and through gritted teeth, TAX musters a…
TAX: Very, very, sorry.
PAGE: So, now that we’ve come out here and apologized with truly heavy hearts, you can put us back where we belong…headlining Warfare!
A pop explodes from the crowd as they would clearly, undeniably, discernibly rather watch the brilliance of JOSEPH PAGE and the allure of TAX rather than the…”skills” of Dark Shadow and the “appeal” of Bobby Strange. PAGE is in a celebratory mood, patting TAX on the back as the crowd chants their approval.
The flow of cheers is interrupted as “Daydream” by Scandal begins to play, signaling the arrival of General Manager, MIYOKO KAWASHIMA! MIYOKO walks forward with her own microphone in hand and a smirk upon her face. She enters the ring and stares at this new “friendship” that has formed this very night in Nashville.
PAGE and TAX broaden their smiles, as PAGE slaps TAX on the chest, and TAX returns the brotherly gesture by rubbing PAGE’s head. MIYOKO begins to chuckle as she brings the microphone to her luscious lips.
MIYOKO: So… You guys are sorry, huh?
TAX smacks his palms together in front of his face (as if praying) while PAGE mouths his apology once more.
MIYOKO: I guess I should elevate you back to where you belong then, huh?
Both men nod their heads as the crowd cheers the decision.
MIYOKO: You know what, though? I’m just… I’m not sure I’m convinced. I mean, neither one of you are going to make it in Hollywood anytime soon, and to be honest, all of this… it just feels like one long cheesy act.
TAX snatches the microphone away from PAGE.
TAX: Come on! What do you want from us!?
PAGE quickly snatches the microphone back from TAX, apparently offended by TAX’s inconsideration.
PAGE: What TAX means to say is that you know, we know, and everybody in the XWF universe knows that the two of us don’t belong in dark matches.
TAX snatches the microphone back from PAGE.
TAX: Well, technically, you were the only one in a dark match. My match was televised, at least, because I’m obviously the more entertaining star here.
MIYOKO’s grin widens as PAGE once again takes back his microphone and adjusts the United States Championship across his shoulder.
PAGE: And obviously, I AM THE UNITED STATES CHAMPION! What do you got?
TAX, once more snatches the microphone back as the two men square up against each other.
TAX: I got ten days before I can shut your fucking mouth!
PAGE muscles up and takes a step toward TAX. TAX doesn’t back down as they bump chests. MIYOKO begins giggling, obviously amused that these two egos simply CANNOT coexist.
Suddenly, the realization comes over both men that they are screwing things up. PAGE slowly turns his head towards MIYOKO as does TAX, and the two wrestlers begin chuckling nervously. TAX wraps his arm around PAGE and gives him a little shake, like two friends would do. PAGE slaps his palm over TAX’s ribs, as they resume their act of friendship. MIYOKO shakes her head.
MIYOKO: Oh you two do amuse me so, if it is any consolation you two have made being a GM of this show a joy... We'll see what I do with you two... I'll let your performance in WGWF this week make up my mind for me, defend this company and see your self elevated to the primus... err the Main Event. Lose and I got Soda Popinski and Piston Honda on speed dial.
XWF TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIPS
Zydeco + Mr. Natural
- vs -
Decker + Hatcher
Tag Team, 1 Fall
In one of the better matches of the night, Zydeco and Mr. Natural brought everything they had to the Champions. The Champions were not in for an easy night as this match was an instant classic and a text book on tag team wrestling. Both sides had there ups and downs but the match went pretty much back and forth for the first ten minutes, action on both sides fast and very exciting.
About 8 minutes into the match Zydeco and Mr. Natural had been working over Hatcher in the far corner of the ring for a good while now and looked to be in full control. When out of no where Hatcher hits an ezizugi on the legal man Zydeco out of the blue and manages to fly across the ring for the hot tag to Tyler Decker. Zydeco seeing this makes a quick tag to Mr. Natural and slides out of the ring to recoup from the kick. Decker runs full bore into Mr. Natural and lays him out with several series of impressive moves before finally pulling off a surprise Back to the Future, laying Mr. Natural out. Hatcher runs around the ring and closelines Zydeco making sure he can not break up the count as Decker gets the 1....2....3 In the ring. The Champs retain only to defend next week at the PPV!
Winner: Blueprint of the Fall!
After the Tag Team match The lights in the Arena dim as 'Orion' by Metallica begins playing. A voice over at the beginning shout out the familiar phrase. Your either down with the AoD.........
Or Your History!
The fallen step through the curtains as a blue mist begins emanating from the ceiling. Suddenly all four members rush the ring and double team both Hatcher and decker. They smash their tag team belts across their foreheads and bust them wide open. In the end, Diablo and Hank 'Thunder' Lane stand over the fallen duo with their belts in their hands. They each throw the belts on top of the fallen pair and walk off as Diablo shouts out. just a little hello from the Angels of Death! How do you like me now. Thunder grabs a microphone from ringside and begins to speak.
Hank 'Thunder' Lane: How does it feel to be sneak attacked and left in a bloody mess? Remember the Potato incident? paybacks are a B!t@#!
He hands the microphone back to the announcer and all four members make their way up the ramp and to the back.
MAIN EVENT
Dark Shadow
- vs -
Bobby Strange
"Daydream" by Scandal plays over the P.A. System as Miyoko Kawashima comes out to the ringside area. She walks around the ring and takes a seat at the announce table to watch the main event she has booked for the night.
The match starts boring and ends boring, just as bad as Miyoko had predicted. At ringside she hyped the match up though, pointing out all the amazing moves by Bobby Strange and Dark Shadow. The match went back and forth and did pick up some pace near the end when Dark Shadow started to gain dominance and take control of the match.
But after a series of fairly impressive movies, Bobby Strange is able to get the counter and start to take advantage. A couple of power moves later and Bobby Strange was on top, seemingly in place to set up for the finisher when Dark Shadow nails him with a low blow behind the referees back letting him back into the match. By this point this match has dragged on longer then the fans wanted, even more then Miyoko wanted who gets up and walks away from the ring, still clapping at how 'awesome' this match is. But finding it more entertaining to go count the stains on her ceiling then finish watching. Although as Mioko heads to the back Conrad Le Strange comes rushing from the back. Just as Shadow is about to win, CRACK Conrad nails him with a steel chair upside his skull, knocking Dark Shadow out. The ref is too busy making sure Miyoko leaves that he does not see it! Conrad slides out of the ring with the chair and hides where the referee can not see him, who finally turns back to the match. Bobby Strange covers Dark Shadow for the easy at this point 1...2...3 ... This is the second time Conrad Le Strange hs screwed Dark Shadow now!
Winner: Bobby Strange, but really we all lost... Maybe Miyoko will never do this again.
Immediately following the Main Event both parties are still in the ring when suddenly...
The crowd completely goes nuts! Both STRANGE and DARK SHADOW's attention is drawn to the top of the ramp. The crowd reaches a fever pitch as the XWF CHAMPION, THE TRISTAN SLATER, walks out through the curtain! SLATER is dressed in jeans with a matching AFFLICTION graphic t-shirt, the XWF Championship is over his shoulder as he makes his way towards the ring. In the ring Dark Shadow claps for the Champion as he makes his way up the steel steps to the ring apron. SLATER looks at both STRANGE and SHADOW before shaking his head in disgust as he enters the ring! SHADOW extends his hand to the Champion, SLATER takes a hold of SHADOWS hand. SLATER actually shakes his hand before delivering a kick to the midsection which is followed up with a FLIP PILEDRIVER! The crowd roars as SLATER nips up to his feet. BOBBY STRANGE holds up his hands before dropping down to the mat and rolling out to the floor. SLATER picks DARK SHADOW up before throwing him out to the floor through the ropes to a massive pop from the crowd as he demands the microphone. The music fades away as SLATER retrieves the microphone from the ring announcer.
THE TRISTAN SLATER- "Now surely you didn't think I wasn't going to have something to say about a program that features the DARK SHADOW as a Main Event, did you?"
SLATER holds the microphone out so that it picks up the overwhelming response from the crowd.
THE TRISTAN SLATER- "Not that's out of the way let's talk about some SERIOUS business, shall we? In just 5, count them, 5 short days the XWF is taking the FIGHT to the WGWF on the biggest stage of the WGWF Summer entitled SUMMER MADNESS!"
SLATER slowly paces back and forth in the ring as he continues.
THE TRISTAN SLATER- "When I issued this challenge following last weeks Warfare I already had two names in mind to team with me. When I think about the XWF there's but THREE names who stand out more so than anyone else. Myself, Tax, and Joseph Page."
The crowd lets out a huge pop as SLATER's pace comes to rest. He intently gazes into the camera.
THE TRISTAN SLATER- "48 Hours ago the three of us appeared on WGWF programming where we found out that our opponents shall be none other than TOMOKO HANAHARA, for XWF Universal Champion JOHN GAMBINO, and for XWF World Heavyweight Champion "CHRONIC" CHRIS PAGE."
The crowd breaks out into boo's as SLATER mentions the names of his opponents.
THE TRISTAN SLATER- "What's funny about this is even in a WGWF vs XWF contest it seems that ALL the participants have at one point in time or the other competed RIGHT HERE in the XTREME WRESTLING FEDERATION!"
A thunderous pop as SLATER continues.
THE TRISTAN SLATER- "Next Monday Night on Pay-Per-View is just the genesis of what's to come, for you see it continues with UNSTOPPABLE on September the 1st where I'll take out the biggest piece of WGWF trash of all, PAUL FROST!"
Loud boo's are heard as SLATER mentions PAUL'S name.
THE TRISTAN SLATER- "I've never been a man to think to far ahead of myself so excuse me if I don't blow my load on PAUL FROST now, I'll wait, yet I will take this time to introduce the two men who have WILLINGLY agreed to stand beside me at WGWF's SUMMER MADNESS... XWF UNITED STATES CHAMPION, JOSEPH PAGE... and TAX!"
The Wednesday Night Warfare theme song plays as JOSEPH PAGE and TAX make their way out to the top of the ramp. It's uneasy between these two men seeing as just a week ago they destroyed each other on this very program. The two men walk towards the ring where they enter the ring joining THE TRISTAN SLATER. SLATER shakes hands with TAX and then with PAGE before addressing both men.
THE TRISTAN SLATER- "Now guys, let's go ahead and get the bulls**t out of the way, I've been in the ring with BOTH of you and I've BEATEN both of you... yet that's not the one thing you've got in common. BOTH of you pushed me further than ANYONE ELSE in the XWF locker room."
There's a round of applause for PAGE and TAX at the statements of SLATER.
THE TRISTAN SLATER- "JOSEPH."
SLATER stands in front of the XWF United States Champion, JOSEPH PAGE.
THE TRISTAN SLATER- "I've said since the moment we left MADISON SQUARE GARDEN... and I'll say it again... One day you WILL be XWF Champion, and the reason I've asked you to stand beside me in this battle is because not only do I need someone I can trust, but I need someone who can WRESTLE... you have both of those qualities in spades."
The crowd roars with a massive "PAGE, PAGE, PAGE" chant as SLATER continues.
THE TRISTAN SLATER- "You're one hell of a talent and a hell of a man, and I'll be glad to have you stand beside me to show the XWF rejects in the WGWF just where the true talent in the business lays."
SLATER turns his attention towards Tax.
THE TRISTAN SLATER- "... and then there's you."
TAX cracks a grin.
THE TRISTAN SLATER- "You and I have more in common than anyone else within this federation, and much like Joey, you too will one day wear the XWF Championship. I remember it as if it was yesterday when you and I laid out CHRIS PAGE on his own program, leaving him for dead."
The crowd roars as SLATER and TAX share a sadistic grin.
THE TRISTAN SLATER- "We've had more fun with this together, which is why a man of your talent is NEEDED and WANTED to go to battle against these rejects."
SLATER takes a step back looking at both PAGE and TAX...
THE TRISTAN SLATER- ".. but we've got a problem, gentleman."
A hush fall over the crowd.
THE TRISTAN SLATER- "There's already some chatter that this team that I've devised isn't going to live up to it's full potential because of personal issues, mainly revolving around the two of you. People are saying that you two won't be able to coexist. The reason I've called you both out here is to make sure we're all on the same page because the history we're about to make is going to remain a hot topic of conversation for a very, very long time... and the one thing I desperately crave to be apart of that conversation is how everyone will be talking about how WE walked into the WGWF house and kicked their asses!"
The crowd roars as SLATER hands the microphone to TAX. TAX paces the ring back and forth several times, microphone in hand. Suddenly, he stops, his head staring at the ground, his long, stringy hair dangling.
TAX: So, if I understand you right, there are people out there saying that me and JOSEPH PAGE can’t co-exist. Am I right?
TRISTAN nods his head while glancing at both TAX and United States Champion.
TAX: I’m going to be honest with you, TRISTAN. Their fears? Their worries that me and Page won’t be able to get along? They’re exactly right.
A loud string of boos escapes from the crowd. TAX looks around at the faces of everyone in attendance.
TAX: I don’t give a shit if you guys like it or not!
TAX turns his attention back to TRISTAN, amid the loud chorus of boos, that begin to soften as TAX continues. TRISTAN seems to be a little upset that TAX is not putting aside his personal feud with PAGE for the wellbeing of his company.
TAX: I’m a straight-shooter, and I’ve never claimed to be nothing more, and the fact is, I just simply do not LIKE JOSEPH PAGE.
More boos flow from the barely packed arena. It seems as though tickets didn’t exactly fly off of Ticketmaster once the card was announced. I bet more people wished they would’ve shown up now.
TAX turns his attention to JOSEPH PAGE, who swings the XWF United States belt over his shoulder and crosses his arms; almost daring Tax to touch him.
TAX: However…
PAGE cocks his head.
TAX: I’ve learned that this sport is all about respect. Now, I don’t know about you and frankly, I don’t really care what you think about me. You may think I’m a snake in the grass. You may not trust me. You may think I’m a miserable prick who breathes just to make everyone else around me miserable, and you’d be right. We are who we are, and you, JOSEPH PAGE…
The crowd shows their appreciation towards PAGE as TAX pauses for a moment for Detroit to give the champion his rightful due.
TAX: Are one hell of a wrestler. You have my respect, and it is because of that respect, that I can put aside our differences for the sake of one match…
A thunderous ovation storms from the Joe Louis Arena as TAX is making peace!
TAX: As long as you remember this.
TAX takes another step forward and taps the belt dangling over PAGE’s shoulder.
TAX: No matter the outcome of this match, it doesn’t change a thing. At Unstoppable, a mere four days after this match, I’m still going to kick your ass and leave the Staples Center as the NEW UNITED STATES CHAMPION!
Tax passes the microphone off to JOSEPH PAGE and walks to the corner where he leans against the turnbuckles. TRISTAN applauds TAX’s decision, and awaits PAGE’s thoughts.
PAGE looks down at the microphone that was given to him and he turns his attention towards TAX who is still leaning against the turnbuckle.
PAGE: Are you going to stand straight like I did for your little speech or what?
TAX doesn’t answer or move and instead narrows his eyes at PAGE as the two talents share small glare with one another. TRISTAN looks at PAGE with obvious disapproval and PAGE catches this; turning his attention away from TAX with an annoyed look in order to speak his thoughts on the situation.
PAGE stands in the middle of the ring and looks towards the left at the fans who begin to cheer wildly and loudly as they wait for Joseph to voice his opinion. Joseph smiles at the fans and a takes quick look between TAX and TRISTAN.
PAGE: I just realized I must be the most loved man in the ring, right now.
The crowd cheers louder and Joseph laughs before suddenly frowning and becoming serious once again.
PAGE: Moving on to the business at hand…
TRISTAN, I’ve been 100% behind you since you smacked PAUL FROST in Germany for the good of the company. I’ve been vocal, I’ve been supportive, but despite all of that I would have never expected you to choose me as one of your partners for this tag.
As PAGE is talking he is slowly making his way towards the ropes with both TRISTAN and TAX following his every move.
PAGE: I mean, we barely have anything in common; I disagree with the strategies you use to make a point, I dislike your theme song, I hate your haircut, your kind of an jerk and you can consider us complete opposites, but-
PAGE takes a sit on the bottom rope and sucks his teeth as he gets his thoughts back together.
PAGE: -but I love the XWF and I will defend this company ‘til the end of time.
The fans pop at that and TRISTAN smiles and nods; clearly liking the direction that PAGE is going, but then PAGE shakes his head and continues.
PAGE: But I gave you the “okay”, Slater. Now, you want me to come out here and play nice with TAX?
The crowd lets out a noise of mixed reactions at PAGE’s words. PAGE chuckles.
PAGE: I don’t need to play nice with TAX. He’s the third tier talent of the group with less professional accreditation than Griffin MacAlister who has actually won himself a belt with the time he’s been given within the company.
PAGE pauses and smiles at TAX who has launched himself off of the turnbuckles; strutting across the ring to PAGE. TRISTAN puts a hand up to Tax and halts him as he stares daggers at PAGE.
PAGE: Great, now that you’re standing up like the respectful guy I know you can be; let me tell you what I really think…
PAGE stands up off of the ropes and walks over to TAX. The two men are now face-to-face in the middle of the ring and TRISTAN backs up in order to let the men settle their differences. SLATER doesn’t look entirely sure about the exchange, but he watches from a small distance.
TAX is glaring at PAGE and looks as if he’s ready to swing until PAGE begins to talk.
PAGE: I’m impressed.
TAX bares a confused look on his face as PAGE continues.
PAGE: Our match was GREAT and one of the best matches I’ve had-easily in my top three. You showed me heart and you showed me personality; something that I would have never been able to see just by holding a conversation with you.
The crowd is cheering at PAGE’s words. TAX seems to have visibly relaxed. PAGE raised his hand and looks at TAX seriously. TAX seems hesitant, but takes the hand and shakes it!
Looks like the two men are finally on the same page with this one.
SLATER is clapping as he slowly makes his way over to the two men, but then JOSEPH speaks again.
PAGE: You’re a talented wrestler and even though you aren’t going to win my title at UNSTOPPABLE; you’ll still be one of the best in the company and second best on WARFARE.
SLATER stops and TAX’s frown gets deeper. PAGE smirks at both of them.
PAGE: Guys, you have my trust and you have my respect; what more could you want? Technically, that’s all we need in order to bring down our opponents at SUMMER MADNESS. All three of us are perfectly capable of taking out those guys on our own, so as a team we’ll be-for lack of a better word-unstoppable.
The crowd cheers insanely as JOSEPH PAGE is finished with the mic. PAGE extends it out to TRISTAN who reaches for it, but then PAGE jerks it back to his mouth.
PAGE: Also, I’m sorry for destroying your catering table, Tristan.
PAGE extends it to TRISTAN once more. The XWF champion rolls his eyes before snatching the mic out of JOSEPH’s hand; a small smile of his own playing on his face before he become serious.
SLATER gazes at PAGE...
THE TRISTAN SLATER- "What do you mean you don't like my music? Who DOESN'T like Deep Purple?"
There's some laughter from the crowd as SLATER shares a chuckle.
THE TRISTAN SLATER- "But in all seriousness, for those out there who think we can't co-exist, for those who think we're not a collective unit... well, you're f**ked!"
WHAT!
The Detroit Crowd seemingly EXPLODES as the "Sound of Madness" by Shinedown hits the speakers! The crowd roars as DETROIT'S FAVORITE SON...
OWNER OF THE WORLD GLOBAL WRESTLING FEDERATION....
FORMER XWF WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION....
"CHRONIC" CHRIS PAGE!!!!!!!!!
YES! CHRIS PAGE is shown walking out on to an XWF stage for the first time in nearly 3 years. The crowd is in a state of complete and utter shock as CCP stands at the top of the ramp looking towards the ring with a serious, intense glare coming from his eyes. The roof explodes as CCP removes his sport coat before letting it fall to the ramp. CCP walks towards the ring, unbuttoning the top button of his dress shirt! SLATER, TAX, and PAGE line across the ring challenging CCP to get into the ring! The crowd breaks out into boo's as JOHN GAMBINO and TOMOKO HANHARA jump the backside of the security railing and dive into the ring! They blindside TAX and JOSEPH PAGE, respectively! SLATER spins around as CCP dives into the ring under the bottom rope. SLATER swings at GAMBINO, GAMBINO blocks the attempt before rocking SLATER's jaw with a right hand which spins SLATER around into a boot to the midsection by CHRIS PAGE, CCP delivers the PAGE PLANT to a chorus of boo's from his hometown crowd, mainly because this is a PRO-XWF crowd. TAX is measured by GAMBINO as he works his way to his feet only to be drilled by the RAGE by JOHN GAMBINO! TOMOKO is shown picking JOSEPH PAGE up off the mat, yet PAGE has a little fight in him as he lays in several right hands to the midsection of TOMOKO, yet as he reaches his feet he's blindsided by CCP and JOHN GAMBINO!
TOMOKO, GAMBINO, and CHRIS PAGE start stomping away at the XWF UNITED STATES CHAMPION!! The crowd starts to stir as THE TRISTAN SLATER starts working his way back to his feet and he's followed by TAX! SLATER comes up behind CCP kicking him square in the ball sack! GAMBINO spins around where he walks right into the TAX BREAK by TAX to a massive pop from the crowd! TOMOKO is met with a jaw breaker by JOSEPH PAGE before being met with the MID DAY WAKE UP! Both TOMOKO and GAMBINO roll out to the floor leaving THE TRISTAN SLATER to pick CHRIS PAGE up off the mat where he positions him before delivering the FLIP PILEDRIVER to the loudest ovation of the night! The crowd is on fire as TEAM XWF has successfully fended off an attack by TEAM WGWF as WEDNESDAY NIGHT WARFARE comes to a close.
Just before WGWF goes off the air, you quickly catch Miyoko Kawashima in the backstage area as she is about to leave the arena for the night, very happy at what just happend in the ring. She approaches the limo and the driver smiles at her while he opens the door for her.
ROCK BOTTOM! ROCK BOTTOM! ROCK BOTTOM! MIYOKO IS OUT! MR. XWF exploded out of the back of the limo as soon as the driver opened that door! He was waiting in the limo for her! She got ambushed for a second time at her limo!
MR. XWF: I THOUGHT I TOLD YOU! Rock-a-lock-Bottoms ALLLLLLL night long when you party with that boy with the biiiiig ol' dick!
CRACK!
MR. XWF knocks out the driver with a quick right forearm to the side of the head and throws his body down on top of MIYOKO. MR. XWF runs off laughing hysterically as various people arrive on the scene to check on the GM. The broadcasts fades as Miyoko shoves the medical team away from her, very irate for being attacked for the second time tonight but out of time to do anything...
