The scene opens with Korvayne lounging on a pool lounger in the infinity pool at her Glass Cliff Estate. She’s wearing nothing except for one half of the tag team titles across her chest and the other half across her pelvic region. A venti Pumpkin Spice Latte is at the ready, and she sips delicately from it.

Her body still bears the marks from her bittersweet Night Two of Relentless, but the deliciousness of the drink prompts a smile.

“XWF, I’m in a tricky pickle. My dear sweet Remi-Roo has had to step away from competition for a while to settle matters away from the ring. This has left me without a partner to defend these prestigious tag team titles. This is where Samael would step in and team with me, but oh wait, he has ghosted me. Gone. Puff. Like a fart in the wind. He’s goneskis, out of the Art Foundation…

My lovely Lionel would step in, but he’s far too busy with projects outside of the ring to commit to defenses. You can expect to see him on more big Broadway shows and the big screen soon, though.

And apparently XWF’s roster is too intimidated by me to join my Art Foundation, so nobody has taken me up on my recruitment drive. That kind of disrespect is why I won’t captain a team at War Games. Good luck being led by those losers.”

She sips angrily on her addictive beverage now.

“But whatever.. The point of this important message is that YA GIRL is giving you a once-in-a-lifetime chance to bask in my glory on the next Warfare, October 19th, because I’m just a kewl bitch like that. A special match will take place, and the winner of that match will be the NEW tag champion with yours truly! Ahem, interim, until Remi returns or we lose them. Since this involves me, it can’t just be a battle royal or something. I gotta go bigger than that. So, I’m thinking since Alexander the Great was great and I am the GREAT Korvayne, we’ll see who among you is the strongest.

It shall therefore be a Korvayne on Olympus match (Korvayne on a Pole match lol)! You must fight through others to climb and reach the heavenly Olympus heights where I sit, and you must tag me. That’s it. That’s how you win. Brutal and simple.”

But she wags a glittered finger.

“However, you cannot compete for this if you are currently a Warfare champion. I need you warm and fresh to fight alongside me, not distracted with other golds.”

A snarky little grin creeps up.

“But you champions down in that mudshow Anarchy are welcome to join. I’m a generous ass bitch like that. It’s about time you get some love. I know it must be just horrible down there with that human-sized Bobblehead Dick Licker.

Go now, dream of fighting alongside the GREAT Korvayne and maybe, just maybe, that dream will come true!”

With a dismissive wrist flick, the scene ends.

OOC: So, yeah. I ran this by Peter Principle, and he greenlit it. The word count will either be 500 or 1k, even though it’s on Warfare. This is in case you wanted to compete in other matches too. I’m leaving a word count poll up for you guys to vote on.

And no, this doesn’t mean you’ll have to join my faction if you win. There are tons of stories we can run with your character not in the group, though Kor would likely try to manipulate you into it lol. Depending on who wins.

Thought this might be a fun thing to do. So many interesting ways to go. Does your character hate Kor but hate not being a champ more? Does your character want to use this to mentor her and get her out of her rotten bitch shit? Does your character have a Korgasm every time they see her, and this is their ticket to being around her? So much stuff.

The Edgecrusher, who had been off to the side checking reviews on king sheet sets on his phone, looks up. He has a frown as well as a bit of sour cream from lunch spread across his face. He slams his phone down and leaps up from the chair he was sitting in.

Silence. Everybody in the room just stares at the Main Event.

MEEC: That's French for you're all being incredibly disrespectful to my good friend. She is an upstanding person and the greatest tag team champion ever! She's a beautiful young lady... with amazing hair and the most flawless glowing skin... with curves that go for... er...

The silence has now upgraded to full-blown awkward silence. That only lasts for a moment when Edgecrusher's phone dings from behind him. He reaches back and grabs the phone, checking his notifications.
