We cut backstage to the Art Foundation, stationed by the wrestler entrance/exit door. The SIMP and the homeless man Doug have huge, Super Soaker-looking guns packed with confetti, and Korvayne waves an Art Foundation T-shirt over her head in celebration.

One of XWF’s freelance interviewers, Barry McCockiner, approaches wide-eyed and smiling.

BARRY McCOCKINER: Korvayne! The GREAT Korvayne! Wh-

He’s cut off by Ser Lionel Pennyfarthing swooping between them, his Kweensguard cape flapping heroically. He pulls out his Hantori Hanzo sword and keeps the man at bay.

SER LIONEL PENNYFARTHING: Ye dare cometh within smelling distance of the GREAT Korvayne! How dare ye! State ye name and business, or I shall state your life upon this sword!

Barry tosses his hands up in surrender.

BARRY McCOCKINER: Whoa! Hey! Sorry! I’m Barry McCockiner, freelance interviewer for XWF and Whatcuture. I was just gonna ask her what’s going on back here, and where are Remi and Samael? I don’t see them with you guys.

Lionel huffs and sheaths his sword.

SER LIONEL PENNYFARTHING: Lady Remi is away conducting personal matters, and Samael hath ghosted us. He hath taken the coward's will and fled from his duties, and thus is no longer a part of this amazing troupe! Let ye tongue no longer be beholden to the name Samael when addressing the GREAT Korvayne!

Barry does the slow nod.

BARRY McCOCKINER: Okaaaay? Well, that’s unfortunate. So what’s up with this celebration?

SER LIONEL PENNYFARTHING: Ah! YES! Verily! The GREAT Korvayne hath not gotten any takers for her new members' recruitment into the Art Foundation! Clearly, people are either intimidated by her or simply did not see it posted on XWF’s official website. So we are here to accept the newest member into the Art Foundation!

Barry’s eyes light up. He’s gonna get the big scoop.

BARRY McCOCKINER: Wow! Talk about the right place, right time for me. Who is it? When will they be here?

SER LIONEL PENNYFARTHING: WE SHALL SEE! The first wrestler who steps through that door, no matter who they may be, will be the NEWEST member of the great and mighty ART FOUNDATION!

Barry cocks his head, a brow flexed.

BARRY McCOCKINER: Wait… so there’s no new member yet? Is it just you guys randomly picking someone? What if they don’t want to be in the Art Foundation?

SER LIONEL PENNYFARTHING. Nonsense, you dullard-tongued poppinjay! Who would refuse such an offer? HA! No matter! Even if they didn’t want to join, they have no choice. They will join, and they will accept it!

Barry scratches his head and is about to follow up but the door opens. The Art Foundation instantly showers the person with confetti and celebratory hooting and hollering before he can fully get his body in the door. And just as quickly as the celebration begins, it comes to a screeching halt at the hands of Korvayne, screaming in horror and dismay!

KORVAYNE: NO! NOOOOOOOOOOOO! NO! GOD! NO! NOOOOOOOOO-OOOO!

The camera swings from her spectacular face and body to the source of her woe.

It’s the Edgecrusher!

He has joined in despite not knowing what they are celebrating. The Edgecrusher scoops confetti up from the ground and throws it back on the ART Foundation. Seemingly from nowhere, Edgecrusher has a lit sparkler in one hand and one of those little paper blowers in the other. The little tubes that unroll when you blow through them and make noise. He takes a deep breath and blows. It disappointingly extends without a sound. Edgecrusher holds the novelty party favor out to SER LIONEL PENNYFARTHING.

MEEC: This thing ain't working, you try.

We can practically see the steaming smoke billowing out of Korvayne’s ears!

KORVAYNE: BOYS! GET HIM!

The group jumps on him at once. EC defends well at first, but the numbers overwhelm him and pummel him down into the fetal position. Korvayne calls them off and gets some stomps in as well, then she snaps her fingers, and the crew tosses him back out the door!

BARRY McCOCKINER: Wait! Wait! But you said the next person who -

Korvayne bitch slaps him.

KORVAYNE: REDO! I WASN’T READY! That was just a warm-up! Redo! Reset! I’m ready for real this time!

Barry looks back at the camera, rubs his reddened cheek, and shrugs.

BARRY McCOCKINER: Looks like we have a commercial break, but stay tuned to see who is the newest member of the ART FOUNDATION!

Of course, the commercial is an ego-feeding Fap Tribute video of Korvayne.

When Warfare returns, the Art Foundation has resumed their stations by the door, but are looking a tad bit less eager to blindly celebrate before not knowing who it is.

The camera picks up a new person among them that they somehow don’t notice.

The door opens and in walks not a wrestler but referee Wayne Kerr. Korvayne’s eyes burn red with anger!

KORVAYNE: YOU! Stop right there! YOU were the ref who screwed over me and Samael at Bad Medicine with your match rules changing shit!

She gives the signal and the crew pounces on the referee, pummeling him to bits, from behind we hear a voice shouting words of encouragement.

Voice: That's right guys, get em! Good kicking! Pace yourself Lionel, it's a marathon not a race.

Korvayne pushes everyone away and personally stomps on the ref’s hands so hard and so many times that she breaks every bone in his hands.

KORVAYNE: NOW GET HIM THE FUCK AWAY FROM ME!

They toss the ref out the door and celebrate. Edgecrusher is all up in the celebration Complete with a "Happy New Year 2002" party hat sitting haphazardly atop his dreads. He high-fives Sir Lionel and turns for one from the simp but quickly pulls his hand away.

MEEC: Too Slow, partner!

And then it hits them.

They all stop. The celebration ends. And they’re all bird dogging EC.

MEEC: Man, you guys are really fun to hang out with. I'm so glad I walked in through the ART Foundation beat-down initiation door. So, when do I get my membership card? Does it have discounts on it? Ohhh, I hope I get 5% off at Bed Bath & Beyond. That would really be awesome. I'm looking forward to upgrading my thread count in the very near future.

KORVAYNE opens her mouth to speak but is instantly cut off by the overly excited Edgecrusher.

MEEC: Where do I get my officially licensed ART Foundation T-shirt? Ya know what? I'm a team player. I'll just go and get my own from the merch stand.

The Edgecrusher turns and walks away from his new friends.

No... The Edgecrusher turns and walks away from his new family.

MEEC: Wait till my best buddy Solomon hears about this!

The Edgecrusher stops and looks back to Korvayne. He brings a hand to his mouth, letting out a bashful schoolgirl giggle before quickly turning and scampering away.

The scene fades out.

The arena is bathed in a deep red light that brings out the shadows in every nook and cranny as "Deep Set" by Greg Puciato starts to play. Kristoffer Arroyo steps through the entrance way, looking cool and confident behind is bright pink shades. He saunters down to the ring, taking his time and seeming to savor the moment before suddenly exploding into a slide into the ring. He then steps through the ropes onto the ring apron, where he wraps his legs around the middle rope and hangs himself upside down with his arms outstretched like an inverted cross. He smiles for the camera, revealing long sharpened incisors, before sitting up and rolling up and over the top rope and to the canvas. He then proceeds to get to a neutral corner and wait for the contest to begin.

JC: Ladies and gentlefangs, we are kicking off tonight’s edition of Warfare in star-studded fashion as Kristoffer Arroyo makes his way to the ring for our opening bout! He had some choice words about wrestling Deena Hixx on this card, but he promised he would take her to her limits!

JR: Did we listen to the same promo, Jacquinde? The former Anarchy champion said he was going to conduct a bloodletting! He said he was going to paint the ring with Deena’s blood, he said he was going to prove a point to management about booking him in opening matches!

JC: Well I was trying to say it more politely than that!

JR: Nothing about what Arroyo plans to do here tonight is ‘polite’.

Let's light it up hits, and Deena Hixx comes out from behind the curtains and walks out on stage and skips on down the aisle and skips around the ring. She unsheathes the Blade Championship Blade from around her waist, leaving it on the timekeeper’s table. Then she slides into the ring and leans on the ropes with her legs crossed and waits for the bell to ring.

JC: At Relentless Deena Hixx won the Blade Championship Blade, and tonight, she has another huge challenge on her hands! Can she overcome the odds once more and walk away from Warfare with a huge win?

JR: For Christ’s sake, she’s fighting a literal vampire!

JC: That’s right, Joe! But Deena Hixx isn’t one to care about an obstacle like that. She’s going in there with a singular focus on knocking down Arroyo a peg or two!

JR: The only way that I see that happening is if the ref lets her use the Blade Championship Blade! And hopefully it’s made of silver!

Kristoffer Arroyo
- vs -
Deena Hixx
Singles Match

The bell rings.

Arroyo explodes forward.

A kick cracks against Deena's ribs.

Another kick catches her thigh.

A third snaps into her stomach.

Deena fires back with a low dropkick.

Arroyo steps aside.

He catches her by the hair.

RUNNING STO!

JR: The former Anarchy champion is wasting no time proving his dominance! He’s taking the fight right to Deena Hixx, just like he said he would!

JC: Deena Hixx is going to feel that one in the morning!...if she’s even able to feel anything at all!

Arroyo is already on top of her.

Knee.

Knee.

Knee.

He grabs her arm.

FUJIWARA ARMBAR.

Deena claws toward the ropes.

Arroyo releases just as she goes to grab them.

He pulls her upright.

TEATRO GROTTESCO!

JR: That running knee just caught her in the face!

JC: Arroyo has her trapped against the ropes now!

Another knee.

Another.

Another.

Deena collapses.

Arroyo kneels beside her.

His lips pull back.

The fangs come out.

JR: Oh what the hell?!?!

JC: I don’t like where this is going…

He bites into her neck!

Deena screams.

Arroyo bites again.

Blood runs down her shoulder.

JR: This is crazy! He’s literally FEEDING on her!

The referee recoils.

He looks at Arroyo.

He looks at the blood.

He looks at the fangs.

And then his hands spread helplessly.

JR: Why isn’t the refereeing calling the match? That should be an automatic disqualification! He’s using his vampire fangs in a normal rules match!

JC: Actually, Joe- I’m just getting word now from the back that vampire fangs are NOT considered a foreign weapon!

JR: Wait, WHAT?!

JC: They’re saying that since the fangs naturally occur in Arroyo’s mouth, they are not akin to something like a chairshot, which would qualify for disqualification!

Arroyo grins and bites her again, spilling blood all over the ring.

JR: That’s completely insane! Who came up with that interpretation of the rules?!?!

JC: I believe the National Association for the Advancement of Vampire People was involved!

Deena finally manages to shove the vampire away.

She scrambles under the ropes.

Arroyo stays inside.

Deena grabs the championship blade from beside the timekeeper's area.

The referee starts counting.

"ONE!"

Deena backs away with the blade.

"TWO!"

JR: Run, Deena! Just run! Getting out of here is the best thing you can do for your career right now!

Arroyo's eyes lock onto the referee.

His expression changes.

The referee freezes.

"Three..."

His voice dies.

Arroyo slowly raises one finger.

The referee stops moving.

Stops speaking.

Stops blinking.

JR: Wait wait wait…did he just HYPNOTIZE the referee?!

JC: I believe the NAAVP prefers the term ‘mesmerized’, Joe! And yes, it appears he did!

Arroyo steps through the ropes.

He disappears.

Deena spins around.

Nothing.

She grips the blade tighter.

A shadow passes behind her.

She turns.

Nothing.

A whisper touches her ear.

Deena whirls.

And Arroyo is standing beside the timekeeper's table.

Right next to her.

JR: He just appeared out of nowhere! He’s like an alien!

Deena drives the Blade Championship Blade into Arroyo’s stomach.

THUNK.

Arroyo freezes.

Blood pours down his shirt.

JR: Atta’ girl, Deena! Stab that monster in the heart with a stake!

JC: Deena’s lucky that the referee is mesmerized, because usually stabbing someone with a knife is grounds for immediate disqualification!

JR: She’s fighting a bloodsucker of the night! It’s clearly anything goes in there!

Deena yanks the blade free.

She slashes across his side.

Again.

Again.

Arroyo drops to one knee.

JR: Her Blade Championship Blade has completely turned this match around!

JC: Maybe it really does have silver in it!

Deena brings the blade down.

But Arroyo catches her wrist.

His eyes snap upward.

JR: How can he do that?! He just got stabbed a BUNCH of times! His arms should be like limp noodles by now!

JC: It’s like you keep forgetting he’s an actual real-life vampire, Joe!

Deena tries to pull free.

But Arroyo rises.

He grabs her by the throat.

JC: Oh no….I can tell by the look in his eyes that Arroyo does NOT have good intentions right now!

JR: Deena should’ve quit while she was ahead, but instead, she had to keep poking the undead horse! And now, it looks like her night’s about to be over!

Deena drives another knee into his stomach.

Arroyo staggers.

She swings the blade again.

Arroyo ducks.

The blade crashes into the timekeeper's table.

Arroyo grabs Deena from behind.

RUNNING STO THROUGH THE TIMEKEEPER'S TABLE.

Wood explodes everywhere!

Deena disappears beneath the wreckage!

Arroyo stands amid the debris.

Blood pours from his stomach.

He grabs Deena by the hair.

He drags her toward the ring.

He rolls her underneath the bottom rope.

Arroyo follows.

JC: It looks like Arroyo is done playing games here!

JR: Deena Hixx soared too close to the sun! And now, she might never get to see it again!

He turns toward the referee.

He snaps his fingers.

The referee blinks.

The count-out resumes in a confused whisper before stopping completely.

Arroyo turns back to Deena.

She struggles onto her knees.

Arroyo grabs her face.

He leans close.

A deep kiss.

Then he twists her into ROMEO'S LAMENT!

Deena's body crashes to the mat!

Arroyo covers her.

1!

2!!

3!!!

Winner- Kristoffer ‘Vamp’ Arroyo

Arroyo stands tall over Deena Hixx, wiping her blood off his mouth with the back of his hand. The referee, still mentally fogged from the hypnosis, takes a few seconds before he finally raises Arroyo’s hand. Arroyo stares directly into the hardcam while his hand is raised, clearly sending a message to the higher-ups!

JR: I’m not sure Kristoffer Arroyo should be fighting people like Deena Hixx!

JC: That’s what he’s been saying, Joe! And tonight, he proved it once again!

JR: No, I mean like…I don’t think he should be allowed to fight people at all! He’s literally a monster!

JC: Joe, you can’t say things like that anymore! You’ll get us cancelled by the N.A.A.V.P.! We’d better move on to the next match before you say something about Vampired People that we’ll all regret!

JC: Folks, this next match is two long time XWF names who have never crossed paths before!

JR: Often dreamed of in would-be scenarios, but never brought to the real life battlefield that is the squared circle… until tonight!

“Hollywood” by Motionless in White starts pumping through the arena.

“It’s always on the weekend, like neon in the night, when Hollywood is bleeding it never seems to die.”

A movie trailer announcer voice comes on.

Ladies and gentlemen. The Man…has come home.

The lights flicker. One firework shoots from the top of the arena down to the stage. Boom! A man appears, wearing a black hoodie and black leather pants with blue flames at the bottom. A spotlight shines on him as he lifts his head and pulls back the hood to reveal...

'Mr. Amazing' Vincent Jamison

JC: There he is! Vincent Jamison! Mister Amazing himself!

JR: After fourteen years gone, the Amazing One has come home to the XWF and it feels… Amazing!

JC: But can Mr. Amazing take on one of the few men who might have as many years of experience as he does!?!

Mr. Amazing sports black Ray Ban shades over his eyes, which themselves are coated in face paint, red on the right eye, blue on the left. He walks to the ring with purpose and swagger as he slaps hands with people in the crowd. He hands his sun glasses off to a kid before climbing onto the ring apron.

He takes off the hoodie and hands it off to the ring crew. He tests the top rope's tightness with a tug before using it to flip over the top rope, landing feet first in the ring.

"Sometimes the ones you trust most are the ones twisting the knife (twisting the knife)
So we keep running and we're running 'til our hearts explode
We're living like we're dying, but we're still hollow
So love me like I'm already your enemy"

He takes in the crowd's cheers as he looks around the arena.

"And just when you think you're at the top of the chain
Someone comes around and puts you back in your place
The hunter and hunted are one in the same"

Mr. Amazing climbs a turnbuckle and raises his arms over his head in an X shape. Pyro ignites from the remaining three ring posts.

"'Cause everybody's somebody's, somebody's prey
Everybody's somebody's prey!"

Vincent moves to the center of the ring and awaits the start of the match.

…

The X-Tron springs to life! On the screen, the name "John Black" is shot up with a .38 special! At the top of the stage, in a black and white setting, JB stands, taking in the mixed reactions of the capacity crowd.

JC: John Black! The founder of the THUGS! And despite a lengthy wrestling career, JB is still finding ways to improve his game and climb the ladder in the XWF! Can he pull off a victory tonight?

JR: It’s two very different styles in this one. Vincent Jamison loves dazzling. John Black loves hitting people in the face until their eyes are too swollen to see.

JB walks down to the ramp, handing out some high fives. Then, he climbs on the steel steps and enters the ring, and he raises his fist in the air as he pounds his chest around the ring as his theme cuts off.

…

Vincent Jamison steps forward first.

He doesn't charge.

He doesn't even raise his hands.

Instead, Mr. Amazing slowly turns toward the hard camera, spreads his arms, and soaks in the reaction.

JC: “The man they call Mr. Amazing is back! After nearly fifteen years away from this ring, Vincent Jamison has returned to XWF competition, and tonight he finds himself across from a man who has never been particularly interested in making anybody else's night easy—John Black!”

JR: “Vincent looks like he's been waiting fifteen years to do that pose.”

JC: “And John Black is staring right through him.”

Black stands in his corner.

No posing.

No theatrics.

Just a hard stare.

He rolls his shoulders once.

Vincent finally turns around.

Black immediately walks toward him.

The two meet in the center.

The bell rings.

'Mister Amazing' Vincent Jamison
- vs -
John Black
Street Fight

Vincent offers a hand.

Black looks at it.

Then at Vincent.

Then back at the hand.

He doesn't take it.

Instead, Black SLAPS Vincent across the chest.

Vincent's eyes widen.

The crowd erupts.

JR: “Well, that's one way to introduce yourself.”

Vincent smiles.

He shakes his head.

Then he fires back with a slap of his own.

Black barely moves.

Vincent hits him again.

Black answers with a third.

Vincent answers with a fourth.

Soon the two are trading open-handed shots in the middle of the ring, neither man willing to give ground.

Black suddenly drives a knee into Vincent's stomach.

He grabs him by the head.

DDT!

Vincent's face bounces off the canvas.

Black doesn't celebrate.

He stomps him.

Once.

Twice.

Three times.

[white]JC: “John Black wasting no time! He is trying to drag Vincent Jamison into the kind of fight that doesn't require flash, doesn't require speed—just punishment!”

Black grabs Vincent by the wrist and yanks him up.

Haymaker to the body.

Another.

A third.

Vincent doubles over.

Black hooks him.

Scoop slam!

Black drops to the cover.

ONE!

TWO!

Vincent kicks out.

Black immediately goes back to work.

He pulls Vincent up and fires a flying lariat!

Vincent ducks!

Black crashes through the ropes!

He catches himself on the apron.

Vincent springs to his feet.

He hits the ropes.

BASEBALL SLIDE!

Black gets knocked off the apron and lands hard on the floor.

Vincent pauses.

The audience begins to rise.

Mr. Amazing points toward the ropes.

He backs up.

JR: “Oh, come on.”

JC: “Vincent Jamison looking to make a statement!”

Vincent launches himself through the ropes with a spectacular…

TOPE SUICIDA

…

BUT BLACK CATCHES HIM!

For half a second, Vincent's momentum is completely stopped.

Black grunts.

Then drives Vincent back-first into the barricade.

JC: “OH!”

Black follows him into the crowd area.

The referee begins counting.

Black grabs Vincent.

Haymaker.

Another.

Vincent's head snaps back.

Black grabs the back of his neck and slams him against the barricade.

Again.

Again.

JR: “This is exactly what Black wants. Vincent wants to make this a performance. Black wants to make this hurt.”

Black rolls Vincent back into the ring at eight.

He climbs in at nine.

The referee backs him away.

Black ignores him.

He stomps Vincent again.

The official grabs Black by the shoulder.

Black whips around.

And starts getting in the official’s face about touching him!

JC: “And there's that lack of self-control we have seen from John Black!”

Vincent, meanwhile, is pulling himself up using the ropes.

Black turns.

Vincent charges.

SPEAR!

Black gets cut in half.

Vincent hooks the leg.

ONE!

TWO!

BLACK KICKS OUT!

Vincent sits up.

His expression changes.

For the first time, the showman disappears.

He looks annoyed.

He grabs Black and pulls him upright.

German suplex!

Vincent bridges!

ONE!

TWO!

Black kicks out again!

Vincent nods.

He pulls Black up.

Another German!

…But this time, Black rolls through!

Vincent lands on his feet!

Black swings!

Vincent ducks!

Superkick!

BLACK DROPS!

Vincent hits the ropes.

DROPKICK!

Black rolls through the impact and lands against the ropes.

Vincent sees him.

He points.

The crowd knows what is coming.

JC: “Vincent Jamison is finding his rhythm now!”

JR: “That’s when he’s most dangerous, Jacuinde! When his offense is flowing!”

Vincent climbs the turnbuckles.

He stands.

Looks around.

Then leaps.

AMAZING SPLASH!

He connects!

Vincent bounces off Black's chest and rolls over.

ONE!

TWO!

BLACK KICKS OUT!

Vincent sits up in disbelief.

JR: “That was a hell of a kickout.”

JC: “John Black refusing to stay down!”

Vincent gets to his feet.

He shakes his head.

Then smiles.

He starts talking to the crowd.

He points at Black.

Then points at himself.

Mr. Amazing is back.

He grabs Black.

Full nelson slam!

Black hits hard.

Vincent doesn't cover.

Instead, he pulls Black toward the center of the ring.

He hooks the leg.

He grabs the arm.

He pulls the opposite leg backward.

The Amazing Splash submission!

Black screams.

JC: “LOOK AT THE TORQUE! WHAT AN AMAZING SPLASH!”

JR: “Wait, so both his aerial trademark AND his submission trademark are called “Amazing Splash”?

JC: “Check his roster page. That’s what it says.”

JR: “Wouldn’t that get confusing?”

JC: “Eh, I think you just use context.”

Black claws at the canvas.

He reaches.

He's inches away.

Vincent keeps pulling.

Black suddenly rolls!

Vincent loses his grip!

Black scrambles to his feet!

Flying lariat!

Vincent goes down!

Black falls too!

Both men are exhausted.

The referee begins counting.

ONE!

TWO!

THREE!

FOUR!

FIVE!

Black gets to one knee.

Vincent pulls himself up using the ropes.

SIX!

Black is standing.

Vincent turns.

Black charges!

VINCENT DUCKS!

Black goes through the ropes!

Vincent catches him!

He pulls Black back inside.

Scoop slam!

Vincent points toward the corner.

The crowd rises again.

JC: “Vincent Jamison has been waiting fifteen years to do this!”

Vincent climbs.

He stands on the top rope.

He looks down at Black.

He spreads his arms.

Then leaps.

AMAZING SPLASH!

JR: “The aerial one!”

BLACK MOVES!

Vincent crashes!

Black rolls away, clutching his ribs.

Vincent crawls toward the ropes.

Black is on his knees.

Both men are hurt.

Black gets up first.

He sees Vincent.

He charges.

Vincent turns!

BLACKA JACKA!

BRAINBUSTER!

Vincent folds!

Black collapses on top of him!

ONE!

TWO!

Vincent kicks out!

The crowd explodes.

Black pounds the mat.

He looks furious.

He grabs Vincent by the head.

JC: “John Black cannot believe it!”

Black pulls Vincent up.

He throws a haymaker!

Vincent ducks!

Vincent hits a DDT!

Black rolls onto his back.

Vincent drags himself toward the corner.

He pulls himself upright.

He sees Black.

And suddenly...

He smiles.

The smile of the old Mr. Amazing.

JR: “Uh-oh.”

Vincent grabs Black.

He pulls him in.

The setup is perfect.

JC: “AMAZING SPLASH!”

JR: “The Submission one!”

Vincent pulls with all his might!

Black screams!

Vincent is about to pull his arms to their limit!—

When Black snaps his arms together! And grabs Jamison’s skull!

JAWBREAKER!

Vincent's chin CRACKS across the top of Black's skull!

Vincent collapses backward!

Black falls forward!

Both men are down!

JC: “WHAT A COUNTER!”

JR: “That was desperation. Pure desperation.”

Black rolls onto his stomach.

Vincent is completely stunned.

Black slowly crawls toward him.

He gets one knee underneath himself.

Then two.

He grabs Vincent.

Vincent is barely conscious.

Black hauls him upright.

Vincent tries to swing.

Black catches the arm.

He pulls Vincent across his body.

JC: “BLACKLISTED!”

BLACKLISTED!

(DEATH VALLEY DRIVER!)

VINCENT IS DRIVEN INTO THE MAT!

Black rolls over.

He hooks both legs.

ONE!

TWO!

THREE!

Winner: John Black

JC: “JOHN BLACK HAS DONE IT! JOHN BLACK HAS PINNED MR. AMAZING!”

JR: “Vincent had him. Black dodged the Amazing Splash, survived the Amazing Splash and took Vincent out before he could go for an Amazing Splash!”

JC: “...Somehow, I know exactly what you mean, Joe! One Blacklisted later and John Black is tonight’s winner!”

Main Event Ish hits and he walks out behind the XWF Universe wearing an Yeet Sunglasses and a Yeet shirt with a Fetu logo on the side of his pants and a Yeet on the right side and he makes a stop near the steps and raise his hands up and wave'em his Yeet hands and the Universe was following him and they were doing it alone side with him and he kepts on walking down the stairs and slapping kids and adults high five and making his way down the ring and climbs over the barricade and sees two Commentary of Bama and Todd slapping hands aloneside with Jey Fetu and he gets inside of the ring in climbs on the top rope and continues waving his Yeet hands towards the Universe and he gets down and the XWF Universe shouts replay it once more and he does and gets right back up on the top rope and repeat the same Yeeting with the Universe and hops down and music fades and waits for his Opponent to appear.

JC: YEET, YEET, YEET! What an entrance from “Main Event” Jay Fetu! He is arriving in style!

JR: Tonight is a huge opportunity for “Main Event” Fetu! He gets to go 1-on-1 for the X-treme Championship belt, these kinds of title shots don’t come often- so you can bet your ass that Jay Fetu is going to give it his all!

JC: His speed and athleticism could prove to be a serious problem for the newly crowned champ!

JR: If Judd Hollow isn’t careful, his briefcase dreams might just get YEETed tonight!

The arena surrenders to darkness…

A suffocating hush rolls over the crowd as the lights drain away one section at a time, until what remains is a low glow bathing the entrance stage in tones of ash-gray as that of ash itself falls upon the arena. The titantron flickers once… twice… then stabilizes into a grainy, distorted image of static and slow-moving shadows.

The opening strings of The Brothers Bright – “Blood On My Name” creep through the PA system…

A rhythm begins to form. The rhythm is methodical, deliberate, like footsteps approaching…

The fog begins to raise from the floor, swallowing the ramp in seconds until nothing below the knees is visible. The stage becomes an altar of mist. It sets the tone as Father Malachi Graves steps out from behind the curtain in his typical reverend attire.

Rosary beads dangle from his fingers, swinging with each slow, deliberate step. He doesn’t look around. He doesn’t acknowledge the crowd. His gaze is fixed forward focused on the mission at hand.

He pauses at the top of the ramp, before giving a whisper upon the beads…

A dragging sound cuts through the music…

“There’s a reckonin’ a comin’.
And it burns beneath the grave…
With lead inside my belly,
Cause my soul has lost its way…”

Chains scraping metal…

Something heavy being pulled aggressively through the fog...

Judd Hollow steps into view, bare chest carved in inked sleeves that wrap his arms like scriptures of violence. The X-treme Championship belt wrapped around his waist like a holy relic. Slightly torn camo pants hang loose, worn like they’ve survived too many nights that should’ve ended him. Heavy chains are draped across his shoulders, trailing down his back and dragging behind him as he walks. A bandana rests upon his head. From beneath it, bleached, uneven dreadlocks spill out—matted, worn, and almost lifeless in color…

”Oh, Lazarus, how did your debts get paid?
Oh, Lazarus, were you so afraid?”

Across his forehead he bares an inverted cross painted in thick black strokes. Smudged at the edges. His eyes are framed in dark paint, stretching beneath them like hollow sockets—giving him the look of something that hasn’t blinked in a long time.

He doesn’t look at the crowd. He looks through them…

Malachi steps slightly ahead, still clutching the rosary. He begins walking again, and Judd follows… two figures moving in sync without needing to acknowledge each other.

The chains drag louder now…

CLINK… scrape… CLINK… scrape…

The music swells, but neither of them reacts…

“When the fires, when the fires have surrounded you
With the hounds of hell comin' after you…
I've got blood…
And I've got blood on my name!”

Halfway down the ramp, Judd stops. The fog curls around his legs almost attempting to swallow him. Malachi continues forward a few more steps, then slowly turns his head back just enough to acknowledge him without breaking his composure.

A quiet exchange happens without words. Judd tilts his head slightly. A slow roll and crack of the neck with a look of hatred etched upon his face. After a quick breath, Judd begins to walk again…

But slower…

It’s almost as if every step is being measured and calculated to precision.

At ringside, Malachi circles once, rosary beads sliding through his fingers like he’s counting sins. He reaches the ring steps first and ascends without urgency, never breaking rhythm. It’s at this moment Judd steps to the ringside area before following Malachi up the steps, with the X-treme championship belt firmly around his waist.

Each step onto the steel stairs produces a heavy clang that echoes longer than it should. Once he reaches the top step Judd pauses again before leaning slightly forward, chains sliding off his shoulders as he drops the iron vines behind him.

Then he steps through the ropes, stomping his foot upon the ring canvas as the fog begins to settle.Malachi watches with a sinister look upon his face, lifting the rosary briefly as if blessing something that should not be blessed.

Inside the ring, Judd walks to the center. The lights begin to flicker frantically before slowing down. Meanwhile through the speakers, the music distorts for half a second, like it’s being choked or even worse-

possessed…

And then silence returns in pieces…

Judd lowers his head slightly. Malachi stands just behind him now, like a shadow. A cold look growing upon his face. The message becomes loud and clear without a single word being spoken…

This is more than an entrance, it’s an arrival...

JR: Talk about making a grandiose entrance! The X-treme Champion just came out here with a whole kit and cabal!

JC: If I was Jay Fetu and I saw that parade of death walking down the ramp…I might just reconsider my participation in this match! Jay Fetu is a great professional wrestler, but Judd Hollow is something different altogether! Something much darker, and far more evil.

JR: But tonight, Judd Hollow is going to have to prove that he can walk the walk as good as he talk the talk! I, for one, can’t wait to see which one of these warriors ends up in an ambulance!

JR: Probably at the point where you are covering your chest in your opponent’s blood! Judd Hollow has gone completely psycho inside of that ring!

JC: Where’s Latoya Hixx? Where’s Razor Blade? Where’s El Landerson? Jay Fetu’s friends need to get down here and help him before it’s too late!

Winner and STILL X-treme Champion- Judd Hollow

Malachi Graves grabs the X-Treme Championship and hands it to Judd inside the ring. Hollow presses the title against Fetu's chest. Judd wipes the blood from Fetu's forehead across the X-treme Championship belt as the crowd looks on in horror.

JR: Talk about a dominant defense! Judd Hollow just came out here and laid belt-to-ass in Boston! This was only his first defense, but if he keeps fighting like that, I’m not sure he’ll ever have a last!

JC: That was a complete and total disgrace to professional wrestling! Judd wasn’t even competing in that ring: he was just crippling an innocent man! If Jay Fetu can ‘YEET’ again after everything Judd put him through, it will be a miracle!

JR: Judd Hollow made a powerful statement tonight about who the top dog is in the halls of X-treme. I gotta say, I feel sorry for whoever has to fight him for that belt next!

JC: Folks, I’m so sorry, but we are going to have to cut to a commercial break here so we can get Jay Fetu some medical attention. Please bare with us, we will be right back!

XWF TELEVISION CHAMPIONSHIP
15-MINUTE TIME LIMIT
GARISHA © vs. TELEVISION CLOWN

The unsettling opening of Rok Nardin’s “Bad Blood” cranks up over the speakers.

Fog rises from the aisle, staying at shin level.

Through the haze steps Garisha, wild-eyed and wild-haired.

She makes quick work of the aisle and stomps up the stairs into the ring.

Inside the ring, she lets out a roar, like a woman possessed.

JR: "Television Clown spent a whole lot of time making jokes at Garisha's expense."

JC: "Yeah. I don't think she's here to workshop material."

Television Clown's music hits.

Nothing happens.

Garisha turns toward the referee with an increasingly irritated expression.

JR: "Is he coming?"

JC: "Maybe he got lost."

HONK!

Garisha turns around to find Television Clown already standing behind her.

JR: "HOW DID HE—"

DING DING!

15:00 Remaining

Garisha lunges forward and Clown immediately pies her in the face.

JC: "...Oh no."

Garisha stops dead and doesn't move as cream slowly slides down her face.

TV Clown smiles and squeezes his nose.
HONK HONK.

Garisha wipes her eyes clear and charges, but Clown ducks and Garisha runs straight past him!

She spins around as Clown produces another pie from behind his back.

Clown looks at the pie and then at Garisha snarling and almost daring him to do it.

He slowly puts it behind his back.

JR: "Smart."

Garisha lunges again, but Clown yanks a giant wooden mallet from somewhere that absolutely does not exist and swings!

Garisha ducks underneath and grabs for him!

Clown somehow folds himself completely flat against the mat.

Garisha's hands pass over him.

He springs back upright behind her.

HONK!

Garisha spins around, but Clown is gone.

She looks behind the referee.

Nothing.

She looks under the ring.

Nope.

She looks up.

Television Clown is sitting on the top turnbuckle directly above her eating cotton candy.

Garisha ROARS and swipes for his legs, but Clown jumps and hangs in midair like gravity forgot its one job as Garisha looks up in confusion.

Clown squeezes his nose.

HONK!

Then gravity remembers its job and to Clown's dismay, he drops.

JC: "Garisha catches him!"

JR: "GOT HIM!"

Garisha tries to crush him in a bear hug!

Clown reaches into his jacket and slips a self inflating crash cushion between them.

Garisha stares at it as Clown presses the button and it inflates instantly, sending them flying to opposite sides of the ring.

JC: "We're approaching five minutes."

JR: "Five minutes and not a single sucessful wrestling hold!"

Clown runs around ringside.

Garisha gives chase.

Clown rounds the corner...

AND DISAPPEARS THROUGH A PAINTED TUNNEL ON THE BARRICADE!

Garisha stops dead in her tracks and inspects the tunnel.

It's paint. Still wet.

JR: "How is that possible!?"

JC: "Aliens!"

Garisha punches her way through the barricade instead.

Fans scatter.

Suddenly from behind.

HONK!

Clown waves from inside the ring.

Garisha snarls and slides in udner the ropes.

Clown stomps her a couple of times, then pulls a comically oversized boot over his regular clown shoe and tries for a third, but Garisha catches it with both hands.

Clown freezes as Garisha smiles for the first time.

Clown unlaces the giant boot and hops away, leaving Garisha holding it.

JR: "HE LEFT THE GIANT BOOT!"

JC: "Wouldn't you?"

Garisha hurls it after him.

Clown ducks.

The boot flies out of the ring and knocks over the timekeeper.

10:00 Remaining

Clown hears the announcement and checks an enormous wristwatch strapped around his entire forearm.

It has no hands, just one big red button.

Garisha charges again.

Clown puushes the button.

Garisha stops and Clown points upward.

An anvil drops from the ceiling.

JR: "ANVIL!"

Garisha dives away just before the anvil crashes through the ring canvas!

Clown peers into the hole as Garisha rises behind him.

Clown slowly looks over his shoulder... and runs!

Garisha chases!

A cannon suddenly appears at ringside.

JC: "Where did that come from?"

JR: "I've stopped asking questions..."

Clown jumps behind it.

Garisha marches toward him.

Clown lights the fuse.

Garisha keeps coming.
BOOOOOOOOOOM!

A cannonball BLASTS Garisha directly in the chest and sends her flying backward through the ropes!

Clown jumps up celebrating!

He cartwheels.

He moonwalks.

He pulls out a little sign reading: "NAILED IT."

JR: "HE SHOT THE CHAMPION WITH A CANNON!"

JC: "Isn't that against the rules!?"

The referee leans in to check on Garisha.

Garisha sits up with a black cannonball mark is burned across her chest.

Her eyes are murderous.

JR: "Ohhhh, Clown."

Garisha stands up as Clown's smile slowly disappears.

5:00 Remaining

Clown reaches behind his back and waits.

Garisha steps through the ropes.

Clown THROWS THE OTHER PIE!

No! Garisha catches his wrist!

Clown looks from his hand to Garisha.

HONK?

JC: "Uh oh!"

Garisha crushes the pie into CLOWN'S face.

HEADBUTT THROUGH THE TIN PAN!

Garisha grabs him around the waist and RAGDOLLS him violently from side to side!

Clown's arms and legs whip around helplessly as Garisha literally shakes the life out of him!

JR: "THE FUN TIMES ARE OVER!"

She launches him HIGH into the air!

Then redirects him straight DOWN!

POP-UP PILEDRIVER!

JR: “That Clown is seeing stars!”

…

JR: “Wait… no, I’m actually certain he’s dead.”

Clown spikes into the canvas and bounces upright on pure instinct.

JC: “How is he still standing?!?”

Clown pulls out a single flower and then lies flat on his back, sticking his tongue out, his eyes turn to X-s…

JC: “Ah, of course. A bit.”

Garisha scratches the mat, like a prowling animal ready to maul his prey into meat strips!

JR: “Clown is down, but Garisha doesn’t want to pin him after all those shenanigans! She wants to LITERALLY MURDER HIM!”

The Clown peeks one of his X eyes open and starts to sweat!

Garisha pounces!

…

But Clown catches her head and front flips her…

Turns her over!

Gedo clutch pin!

ONE!

TWO!!

THREE!!!

DING DING DING!

JR: "Wait… What? WHAT?!?!"

JC: "No way! NO WAY?!?!?"

WINNER AND NEEEEEEEEEEEW XWF TELEVISION CHAMPION: TELEVISION CLOWN

JR: No disqualifications. No countouts. Just two of the most violent human beings in this company and a championship on the line.

JC: Micheal Graves has barely had time to get that title cleaned off, Joe, and now he's defending it against a man who has ended five careers in this sport.

JR: Charlie Nickles does not care about moments, Jacuinde. He cares about causing damage. Tonight that's a terrifying combination against a champion like Graves.

Bullet With A Name hits next and Charlie Nickles marches out already carrying a steel chair, not bothering with any pageantry, just stomping down the ramp with the flat, dead eyed focus of a man who has nothing left to prove and everything left to destroy. He slides into the ring and immediately squares up across from Graves, close enough that their foreheads nearly touch, neither man blinking.

Static flickers across the X-Tron and a thick fog begins spilling across the stage. The crowd rises as Micheal Graves steps through the curtain. He stops at the top of the ramp as strobe lights cut through the fog, catching pieces of his face.

Graves just stands there for a moment, soaking in the reaction, before giving the smallest nod and starting down the ramp.

Quick cuts of violence flash across the X-Tron behind him. Old fights. Bloody faces. Broken bodies. Graves walking away from it all.

Hands reach over the barricade as he passes. Graves lazily slaps a few of them as his eyes remain forward. Just enough acknowledgment to let them know he hears them.

At ringside, Graves stops and sniffs the air with that familiar crooked grin.

Then he slides under the bottom rope and crawls across the canvas, until he reaches the center of the ring.

Graves rises to his feet, turns toward the crowd, and lets the reaction build before tossing the cape aside and backing into his corner.

The two men stare at each other from across the ring.

JC: You could cut the tension with a knife.

JR: Both men have a lot of history, Jacuinde, there’s bad blood, true blood and blood about to be spilled tonight.

Main Event
[Image: IMG-1849.png]
XWF Universal Championship
'Dark Warrior' Micheal Graves
- vs -
Charlie Nickles
Non-Title
Unsanctioned Street Fight

The bell rings and there is no feeling out process whatsoever. Charlie swings the chair first and Graves ducks, driving a shoulder into his gut that doubles him over, following with a series of hammering forearms that back Charlie into the corner. Charlie answers with a running turnbuckle knee that snaps Graves' head back, then drags him out by the hair for a scoop powerslam that shakes the ring.

JC: These two are not wasting any time, Joe. This is a fight, not a wrestling match.

JR: I don't think either one of these men knows how to do anything else.

The brawl spills to the outside within the first minute, Charlie whipping Graves hard into the barricade before grabbing a second chair himself and cracking it across Graves' spine. Graves absorbs it, turns, and rips the chair away, smashing it over Charlie's skull with a sickening clang that drops him instantly to one knee. Blood is visible on both men within ninety seconds.

Graves drags Charlie up and sends him into the ring steps, the steel folding inward with the impact, and follows with a series of stomps before rolling him back under the bottom rope. He climbs to the apron, looking for a double ax handle, but Charlie catches him mid air with a big boot that sends Graves crashing backward into the timekeeper's table.

JR: Charlie Nickles timed that perfectly!

JC: He's been doing this for twenty years, Joe. He knows exactly where the pain is.

Charlie goes under the ring himself now, producing a sheet of plexiglass that he sets up propped against the ring post, along with a bag of thumbtacks he dumps unceremoniously across a section of the mat. The crowd reacts with a mix of horror and delight as Charlie drags Graves up by the collar, looking to send him through the glass, but Graves fights back with a headbutt that staggers Charlie just long enough to reverse the whip, sending Charlie crashing through the plexiglass himself in a shower of shattered fragments.

JC: HE PUT HIMSELF THROUGH HIS OWN GLASS!!

JR: Micheal Graves does not care who set the trap. He just makes sure he isn't the one who falls into it.

Graves covers.

1!

2!

Kickout, and Charlie is already clawing his way back up, shards of glass still embedded across his back, blood pooling beneath him. He catches Graves with a desperate reverse DDT the moment Graves turns around, buying himself a few precious seconds to recover.

Both men are a mess now, blood streaked across their faces and chests, breathing heavy, the kind of damage that makes the crowd go quiet between the bigger spots instead of louder. Charlie hauls himself up using the ropes and catches Graves with a big boot as he rises, following with a Boston single leg crab locked in tight across the center of the ring. Graves roars in pain, dragging himself inch by inch toward the ropes, but in a street fight the ropes mean nothing and Charlie knows it, wrenching back harder and screaming for him to quit.

JR: There's no rope break in this one, Jacuinde! Graves has got nowhere to go!

JC: He's got to find something else, Joe, because that hold is not coming off on its own!

Graves claws at the mat, finds a stray thumbtack within reach, and jams it directly into Charlie's calf, forcing him to release the hold with a pained yelp. Both men are back to their feet a moment later, trading forearms in the center of the ring, each shot landing heavier and wetter than the last.

Charlie drags Graves toward the thumbtacks and sets up for the Steubenville Screwdriver, but Graves blocks the piledriver attempt and backdrops him instead, sending Charlie down hard into the scattered tacks with a scream that echoes through the building.

JR: Oh, that is a horrible sound.

JC: Charlie Nickles has a hundred thumbtacks in his back right now, Joe, and he is still trying to get up.

Graves goes for the cover.

1!

2!

Charlie's shoulder comes up, and Graves cannot believe it, driving a forearm into his face out of pure frustration before the referee can even finish the count, a habit that has followed him his entire career.

Charlie fires back from the mat with a desperate low blow that the referee, given the stipulation, simply allows to stand, and uses the opening to climb to his feet and unbuckle the belt from his own pants. He whips it across Graves' back again and again, screaming the entire time, the leather cracking like a gunshot with every strike.

JC: BELT-TO-ASS! He's using his finisher!!

JR: This is as brutal as I have ever seen a man get beaten in that ring.

Charlie finally drops the belt and locks in the Devil Hook Drop, his doublearm DDT, planting Graves face first into the canvas, directly beside the remaining thumbtacks scattered across the mat. He covers, hooking the leg.

1!

2!

Graves somehow kicks out, and the building erupts in disbelief.

Charlie cannot process it. He drags Graves up by the hair, screaming into his bloodied face, and goes for a second Devil Hook Drop to finish the job completely, but Graves backdrops out of the lift at the last second, sending Charlie crashing down hard onto the ring apron instead. Charlie clings to the ropes, trying to pull himself back up, and Graves meets him there with a series of hammering forearms that threaten to knock him off entirely before Charlie manages to slip back inside, both men now barely able to stand.

Both men are running on absolute fumes now. Charlie drags himself up first, reaching for the Big Leg Drop, but as he climbs the middle rope Graves catches him with a desperate burst of speed, without warning unleashing a cloud of green poison mist directly into Charlie's eyes the moment he turns around. Charlie stumbles backward blind, clawing at his own face, and Graves seizes the moment, scooping him up and driving him down through the splintered remains of the plexiglass with Graves Consequences, the Razor's Edge, glass and blood scattering across the mat beneath them both.

JR: RAZOR'S EDGE THROUGH THE GLASS!!

JC: HE HOOKED THE LEG! HE HOOKED THE LEG IMMEDIATELY!!

3!

Winner and STILL XWF Universal Champion: Micheal Graves!

The bell rings and the referee signals for the title, but Micheal Graves does not move. He stays draped across Charlie Nickles' motionless body for a long moment before his own arms finally give out and he slumps sideways onto the canvas, unmoving, blood pooling steadily beneath him from a dozen different cuts.

JC: Joe, he's not getting up. Graves is not getting up, and he just won the match.

JR: Get the medics out here right now. I don't think either one of these men is walking out of this ring on their own.

Officials and medical staff flood the ring as the referee holds the Universal Championship aloft over an unconscious champion, blood spreading slowly across the canvas beneath both competitors. The crowd's cheers slowly fade into a tense, worried murmur as the medical team works over Graves' motionless body, the title belt resting uselessly beside him, won in the most violent fashion imaginable by a man too far gone to even know he has it.
