Backstory/Important Character Details: Vincent is the son of a black professional boxer, 'Sugar' Shawn Jamison and an Italian actress, Mia Jamison, née Battaglia. A multi-spot athlete growing up, he excelled mainly in basketball and wrestling. In College, he was in line to be a first round draft pick to the NBA, but an injury derailed those plans. He earned the nickname Mr. Amazing playing streetball on the iconic Rucker Park after recovering from his injury.

He played a few seasons professionally overseas while his older brother pursued a career as a pro wrestler. After seeing his brother's success, he made his own way into wrestling. His brother Mike, known as The Deathbringer had all the tools to become a star, something that Vincent took notice of. They teamed together as the Angels of Death, donning warpaint over their eyes, Mike wearing red over his right eye and Vincent wearing blue over his left.

While they were in line for a independent tag title match, Mike suffered a career ending leg injury. Vincent had to shine on his own and he did. He made his pro debut in Global Championship Wrestling in 2003. He managed to win the GWC World title. After losing the title, he disappeared and reappeared under a mask, terrorizing the company alongside Shadow as the School of Hard Knocks. They won the GCW tag team titles just prior to GCW closing its doors for good in early 2005 when the owner VD, or Vex Driller decided to get out of the wrestling business.

Mr. Amazing made his XWF debut in late 2005. He was a mainstay of the Jonathyn Brown era. It wasn't until two years later that he finally won his first title, the XWF tag team championship, alongside Daniel Malcolm AKA Boondock Saint/Archangel. He had a blood feud with T-Money. He had a few runs as "Vicious" Vinnie James, a cold, calculated alter ego who traded a microphone for brutality. He was part of the Blizzness with Aidan 'Blizzard' Collins, where he teamed up with Brady Anderson. He also reformed the School of Hard Knocks with Shadow in XWF.

Outside of wrestling, he and his brother got into a wild fight one night when Mike was drunk and it ended with a scar across Vincent's left eye. Doctors managed to save his vision. As an adult, he discovered he had a half-sister by his mother named Rita. Mike's son Jimmy had a brief stint as a wrestler in XWF, but is best known as the personal interviewer for the Kline family, Crimson and Solomon. 

When his brother Mike died as a result of a police violence, he chose to honor him by wearing both sides of the war paint in the ring, his brother's side covering the injured eye, a fitting tribute to their complicated relationship over the years. Vincent stayed by Mike's widow's side, acting as a father figure to Jimmy and at 30 years old, he welcomed his first child, Mia.

Mr. Amazing was the epitome of a good hand, always looking the part, having big opportunities and crashing and burning spectacularly when it came to tough competition. With a big ego, he always wanted to be among the names in the Hall of Legends, to win the Universal title, but he could never quite get there. When Jonathyn Brown briefly closed XWF, he settled into a life outside of wrestling. He returned a handful times after the rebirth, including a huge match against his rival T-Money at Last Breath, but he had already begun to move on. Now, after being away from the ring for nearly fifteen years, he decided to return to be a part of Relentless and see what he can accomplish for one last good run before he finally retires for good.

Weaknesses: He is older now and has slowed down. He tends to let the pressure of big matches get to him, but feels with age, he has the wisdom to step up.

“It’s always on the weekend, like neon in the night, when Hollywood is bleeding it never seems to die.”

A movie trailer announcer voice comes on.

Ladies and gentlemen. The Man…has come home.

The lights flicker. One firework shoots from the top of the arena down to the stage. Boom! A man appears, wearing a black hoodie and black leather pants with blue flames at the bottom. A spotlight shines on him as he lifts his head and pulls back the hood to reveal...

'Mr. Amazing' Vincent Jamison

He's sporting black Ray Ban shades over his eyes, which themselves are coated in face paint, red on the right eye, blue on the left. He walks to the ring with purpose and swagger as he slaps hands with people in the crowd. He hands his sun glasses off to a kid before climbing onto the ring apron.

He takes off the hoodie and hands it off to the ring crew. He tests the top rope's tightness with a tug before using it to flip over the top rope, landing feet first in the ring.

"Sometimes the ones you trust most are the ones twisting the knife (twisting the knife)
So we keep running and we're running 'til our hearts explode
We're living like we're dying, but we're still hollow
So love me like I'm already your enemy"

He takes in the crowd's cheers as he looks around the arena.

"And just when you think you're at the top of the chain
Someone comes around and puts you back in your place
The hunter and hunted are one in the same"


Mr. Amazing climbs a turnbuckle and raises his arms over his head in an X shape. Pyro ignites from the remaining three ring posts.

"'Cause everybody's somebody's, somebody's prey
Everybody's somebody's prey!"

Vincent moves to the center of the ring and awaits the start of the match.
