A few people have asked how exactly Spooky Savage will work so hopefully this post will clear some things up, if not please ask a question and I'll try my best to answer it.

So in simplest terms, everyone who RPs is entered into a free-for-all, everyone is against everyone else including the zombies and other fucked up shit you'll see in Resident Evil. First person to escape earns first place, last person to escape is mauled to death by zombies or worse.

There will be 1 or 2 "NPC" RPs, this will basically act as the bar that you need to surpass to escape Raccoon City. Anyone who surpasses the bar will then be judged against one another to determine who placed first, second etc. I've decided to do it this way (1) because we need a pick order for the captains match (2) so people's hard work is rewarded properly, even though someone may not have taken first place they could still do well enough to not die at the hands of Nemesis.

I also fully encourage people to work together in their RPs, or in write-in spots for the match itself.

Q: What will the match look like?

A: Everyone will be in random locations within Raccoon City and we will follow someone going through the city, meeting other characters, having a fight or work together to survive and then shift perspective to a different character and so on until the match is over.

Q: Do I need to know anything about Resident Evil to earn bonus points?

A: No, I made the bonus points vague enough so you could write about anything and didn't need to be specific. Your RP doesn't have to contain anything about Resident Evil at all.

Q: You encourage people to work together in RPs? How does that work?

A: If you want to team up with someone in the match to boost your chances of survival you can ask others to feature in your RP and collab to a degree. Not full collab RPs as this will just complicate judging. If you do this, in the match the person(s) you teamed up with in your RP will either aid or hinder you (depending on what was written in the RP). This again is optional, you can go solo and still have an equal chance of winning the whole thing.

Q: What about working together to write spots in the match?

A: This is just if you want to write something you'd like to see in the match. A memorable moment.

Q: If I write in an attack on someone in the match (either with or without their knowledge) will that decrease their chances of winning?

A: No, it may be added as a spot in the match but judging determines who will win or lose.


The deadline was originally wrong on the card the actual deadline is October 31st 11:59pm board time. Due to it being Halloween however, if people need/want an extension to November 1st instead please say so either here or to me directly.
