Hates and Likes on the Anarchy Board - Mr. Oz - 10-25-2026
I don't know how many people are affected, but can I get some understanding why it seems every board that allows likes/dislikes is working as intended, yet for Anarchy, only people with champ linked accounts or GMs can do it.
I've made this issue known months back, as Summer was starting to heat up. So around June-ish? I'm too lazy to check my messages. The point stands that it's been several months and not even an update as to why it can't be changed back.
I've also made it known that the likes/dislikes helps guide me to know if a story I'm starting or continuing, deserves to have it pushed through or I should start a new story if it's DIW. Like the current one. The Butcher of Chicago/Savior of Chicago. If I knew if people liked it, I'd know that there's something there and build upon it.
So, please. I'm not asking for ya'll to just fix it immediately. It's a selfish ask, but this has gone on for months w/ no one talking to us about it outside telling us that only a certain handful of accounts can do it.
All I'm asking for, is an update once a month or once a couple months. Keep up updated known site problems, please. Instead of us walking into problems blind but you knew of, y'know? A little transparency. That's all I'm asking for. If you can't tell us what you're doing to rectify situations, then that's fine, but tell us you're working on it or not working on it. It would be highly appreciated.

I had to check with a non-champ account, and the like/dislike buttons are showing up on the Anarchy boards for me. So this might be something specific to your account, or to certain accounts that are affected.
I had a similar issue for a while where some of my accounts wouldn’t load images when using the IMG tag. Theo worked with me for MONTHS trying to figure it out, and eventually found that it had something to do with a setting not being checked when the account was originally approved, or something along those lines.
Just spitballing here, but this could be a similar issue where someone with Admin access has to dig through the account settings and figure out what’s different. As a former GM, I can attest that regular GMs don’t have access to that stuff.
I’d suggest shooting Vinnie a message and asking if he can take a look when he gets the chance.

I just did a test Ozzy boy and it wouldn't let me like it either. I copied and pasted the message I got below:

For some reason people had the ability to reply to RPs, that got turned off but the like/hate function also got hit for some stupid reason.
We're aware of this problem and looking for a fix.

There was an issue specifically with that board where people were replying to RPs and the only way I could prevent it was to turn off the ability to reply at all in there - the likes are considered a reply according to the code.
I'll look again for a way around it.

Seriously, do appreciate ya'll are looking into it. Including the update and reasoning. Consider me having no bitching to do anymore.
